The idea

The apartment is imagined as a connected landscape rather than a collection of rooms. A long joinery wall brings storage, seating and display together. Openings frame views from the entrance through to the dining table.

Material language

Oak and walnut are paired with cream plaster and woven linen. Finishes are intentionally tactile, chosen for how they feel at arm’s length as much as how they appear across a room.

Living with light

Sheer curtains soften the daylight without obscuring the windows. The evening lighting is kept low and close to daily activity, allowing the edges of the room to settle into shadow.
