The idea

The gallery is a study in restraint. The existing volume is imagined as the primary exhibit: circulation follows its long axis, while a few freestanding elements create smaller places to pause.

Material language

Warm limestone, mineral plaster and pale timber sit within a narrow palette. New interventions remain clearly readable against the older architectural language, without competing for attention.

Living with light

A combination of high openings and reflected daylight reveals the depth of the vaulted ceiling. Art positions are shown as a concept only; real exhibition lighting requires a project-specific design.
